Today is the launch of Ready, Aim, Excel, a new book  by great leadership educators and I am thrilled to have a chapter included. I believe that everyone on a leadership track, everyone in leadership development, everyone who is a student of leadership will benefit from reading the short, concise interviews from a group of teachers.

Just like good nutrition, it is impossible to ever have enough leadership training.

In fact, I think that when the fall from grace happens, it is because leaders have so much hubris; they think they know it all.

Take a few minutes and answer the following questions:

  • When is the last time you read a book about leadership?
  • When is the last time you went to a seminar about leadership?
  • When is the last time you mentored someone about their leadership skills?

Now, give yourself a gift.

Order Ready, Aim, Excel and have 52 new perspectives about what it means to be a leader. If you are busy, one great way to use this book is to read a chapter a week and by the end of the year you will be 52 times smarter! Now, that’s not a lot of time and the ROI is amazing.

Happy reading and happy growing!
